Quality Assurance
Quality at Sumex Auto Tech is managed through defined inspection stages integrated into the production sequence, calibrated measurement systems, and batch-level documentation maintained from raw material to dispatch. Each production lot is monitored for dimensional compliance and metallurgical consistency before release.
All production is carried out per customer drawing, with process parameters controlled at source to meet application-specific requirements — not corrected downstream through inspection alone.
Dimensional Control
Critical dimensions are verified at defined stages of the manufacturing sequence — not only at final inspection — to prevent non-conformance propagation between operations.
- Tolerances maintained to ±0.005 mm on functional features — trunnion diameters, bearing seats, bore geometries, spline profiles
- In-process inspection at machining, hardening, and grinding stages
- Final inspection gate before batch release — no lot dispatched without dimensional sign-off
- Stress riser elimination verified at trunnion-to-body transitions — blended radii confirmed before dispatch
Batch Traceability
- Heat number linkage established at raw material receipt
- Batch identification maintained through machining, heat treatment, grinding, and inspection
- Inspection records cross-referenced to dispatch documentation
- Enables lot isolation, production history retrieval, and warranty traceability as required by OEM customers
